A self published book by Dennis Demes and Clifford J. Brooks on the Life, Vocation and Art of Sr. Mary of the Compassion. A Cloistered Dominican Nun originally from London who studied art at the Clapham School of Art and the Royal College of Art before winning the internationally prestigious Prix de Rome. She entered the Dominican Monastery at Blue Chapel in Union City in 1937, where she grew in love of Christ and continued to produce art work to support the monastery. Since her death in 1977, her artwork has slowly been coming into the spotlight in recent times.
